Oh Sal……you done do it again! This is so refreshing; the science bit/ statistical flew away from me 🙂 never mind, am made that way. The truth is we as a species love the body….so we indulge, both sexes. I like the take on celibate men. Women for ages seem to have mastered (using term loosely here) this act…boggles the mind why many find this inconceivable with men .I know a few men who not only are celibate for spiritual reasons, they are actually more acute in so many ways than those who never seem to stop. This is scientifically, physiologically and psychologically proven by the way. Don’t ask, I can;t quote issues, but can find them later for you…. As for simply loathing nookie? I will help with your quest girlie, am so curious 🙂 Those numbers in your stats are serious gal…naija for real? Randy bastards all around…let the love shine!!! 🙂

“For there are eunuchs that were born such from their mother’s womb, and there are eunuchs that were made eunuchs by men, and there are
eunuchs that have made themselves eunuchs on
account of the kingdom of the heavens.“ – Mt 19:12.

It was Jesus answering a question from his disciples when they said,“ it is not advisable to marry“ in verse 10.
This shows that we ve had celibate men from long ago, due to different reasons. Following the tenets of the bible, every single christian ought to be celibate untill marriage. Fortunately, there are many who have not considered it out of date to be. I know a lot of them personally. They struggle amidst the allurement that this pleasure seeking world offers for free sometimes, to pummel their body as the temple of God. They do not lack self confidence as is being taunted. There are many who lack self confidence in everything yet they are sexmaniacs. On the other hand, those who are known to be chaste gain the trust of the opposite sex. While many may find it strange that you are chaste, others respect you for whom you are. Being a virgin is putting your treasure in God‘s hand. He treasures such.

I have an uncle who died a celibate. He was once a special adviser to IBB. So he had money to get as many women as he wanted. But there was something that kept him away from women. No, it was not religion. It was something no one understands up till today. Nobody knew when he died and rotted away in his bathroom. It was his bones that we buried last year. Because he was not married, he was staying alone in his mansion.

One issue with statistics such as the one conducted by durex is that the study may tilt towards proving the need for their product. They would want us believe that since more than half of the men you see are having sex, then you too need to. And when you do, do it with durex. So such study is with the intent to lure more to d use of their product which may make them falsify records.

Thank you, Chux for your angle on this. And no matter how we tend to shy away from the truth, celibacy was what God intended for us all until we get married. As I said, kudos to you celibate people out there. And durex…you may be right. In short you are cos recently they just launched a series of their products into the market which the average joe can afford. Can’t fault them for enabling people have safe sex though.

A eunuch is not a celibate man but a castrated man. Then about sex before marriage, God stopped no one but he held that if you sleep with someone, you automatically become his wife or her husband. The word fornication, like so many things amiss in translation, actually means to play the whore. It wasn’t specifying sex before marriage. Yet God does not want us to be whoring with anyone outside our marriage partners.

Lol! Left the beach yet? No, no sucking up here. Just people who express themselves like u. Sex is just what it is- sex! And as much as it is fun and sweet, it’s not everything. And I don’t have to be a man to know there are celibate men out there.
