Hunter’s Game: Season 2 (Teaser)

Hi everyone! I am pleased to inform you that Hunter’s Game is returning for a second season! Whoop whoop! I thoroughly enjoyed writing the first season and the characters would not let me rest so I have decided to bring them back in a second season alongside a few new people as well Today, the series goes live on my blog and I hope to see you there. Thank you so much for reading. Let’s make it a date. But before then, here’s a little teaser to whet your appetite. *** The sun had long since completed its return home by the time she took her evening run. Her trail was different tonight as she ran through the city for the first time. It had always been through the beach or some other trail close to home but this night, she took a different, longer trail, just for the fun of…

Hunter’s Game – Season Finale

Read the entire season of Hunter’s Game “How could you let this happen?!” Major-General Yakubu thundered. An hour after Ijeoma’s phone call, Kazeem’s boss was standing before him in his office. “I’m sorry sir. I tried to reach you when I had my suspicions but I didn’t expect her to act this fast or this drastically.” Kazeem’s boss mumbled. “What suspicions? That she knew I ordered Maiva’s death? Or that she would launch her personal vendetta against me? What suspicions exactly? And what resources is she using? Someone on your team went rogue and you did not know?!” “We have been on her case for months.” “Don’t make me lose my temper. For months, yet she outsmarted all of you! With all the money pumped into your organisation, you could not handle this?” “I apologize for the slip up sir. My team is on ground and they are working to…

Read previous episodes of Hunter’s Game “Babe, look this way.” Tinu held her phone up and shaped her lips into a pout as she leaned into Williams whose phone was held up to his ears. William did as he was told and flashed a smile. Tinu took a few selfies and proceeded to edit one for her Instagram. “No, I won’t be back until next week…” William was saying. She soon uploaded the picture with the caption “When bae decides to spoil you with a spontaneous pre-birthday trip. #MadridLoading #BooIsBae” “Alright, thanks. I’ll look into it then.” Williams hung up and planted a quick kiss on Tinu’s forehead. He saw the picture she had just finished uploading and shook his head affectionately. “You ehn, one of these days, we’ll get kidnapped and it will be all your fault. Every single thing we do goes on Instagram or Snapchat or Twitter.”…

Read previous episodes of Hunter’s Game here “No, Yemi, I need you back here immediately. You can’t trust her. She’s dangerous.” Leela could sense the urgency in her boss’ tone but it didn’t make a difference to her. Her mind was made up. “I’m sorry. I can’t. I can’t abandon Uzo. And I can’t let these people get away with what they did to Gbemiga.” Her boss sighed and his tone softened “I know you miss him. We do too. He was important to all of us. But Yemi, you can’t let your emotions dictate to you right now.” Leela shook her head. “This isn’t about my emotions boss. I’ve got an assignment, I see it through to the end.” She heard him breathe over the line for a few seconds. She would hang up but she did not want to be rude. “Boss, I need to go now. We’ve…

“Ijeoma?” “Take these things off me! I don’t want the surgery anymore.” Dr. Haliru was torn between relief and confusion as to her sudden change of heart but he did not question her. Rather he did as he was told and soon, Ijeoma was upstanding beside him. “I need your phone. One last time.” Dr. Haliru handed the phone over to her in silence. Ijeoma dialed Leela’s number quickly and took in a deep breath as it began to ring. “Where are you?” Her eyes narrowed quickly. “Where exactly?” She pursed her lips and rolled her eyes. “Don’t get dramatic. Give me an exact address.” She listened for a few seconds and nodded. “Pack your things. I’ll be with you in an hour.” She hung up and passed the phone back to Dr. Haliru. “This never happened. You will not see or hear from me again, I promise.” Dr. Haliru…

Read older episodes of Hunter’s Game “I want nothing to do with you. I only want the boy’s mother. Call your agents off and send the boy back to me. His mother will come running.” Kunle laughed mirthlessly and stroked his beard as he regarded Malik’s boss. Kunle was in his mid-forties and completely bald. He was quick-witted and had an ever pleasant disposition but was known to bring down the hammer without hesitating whenever necessary. He was Leela’s boss and had been at the security agency for almost 20 years. “You know that’s impossible. My job is just as important to me as yours is to you.” “You’re treading dangerous grounds.” Malik’s boss said stiffly. “Isn’t that what I signed up for? Why does that bother you?” “You have no idea who I am or what I can do. You really do not want to remain in my way.”…

Read previous episodes of Hunter’s Game Leela tossed the pancakes she was frying and soon set the first one out on a plate. Uzo stood behind her arms folded across his chest, his eyes looking but not seeing. He simply could not get the image of Nathan’s swollen face out of his mind. How could anyone be that brutal? And what exactly was his supposed biological mother involved in that had people dropping dead and others getting beat up just because they wanted her? His first instinctive reaction after seeing that picture was to go back to Lagos but Leela’s common sense prevailed and when he got over the shock waves, he had to admit that it was a bad idea. If they could do that to Nathan, he would probably end up dead within hours of showing up in Lagos. And as much as he hated what was going…

Read older episodes of Hunter’s Game by @Oge_writes Nathan was seated calmly in his office when the two men barged into his office without warning and began pushing items around. “Wait! What are you doing?!” One of the young men snatched up his laptop while the other opened drawers and rummaged through them, carelessly sending documents flying all over the room. Nathan was incensed. “Who are you and what do you think you are doing?” The one who held on to his laptop said dismissively “We are gathering evidence, you better stay one side.” Nathan pulled out his phone from his pocket and was about to dial his boss’ number when Mr. Taiwo walked in. “Sir! You need to tell this people to stop harassing me. I don’t know where Uzo is!” Mr. Taiwo had a defeated look on his face as he implored weakly “Gentlemen, please,” Both men ignored…

Read other episodes of Hunter’s Game IJeoma’s strides were quick but cautious. She looked over her shoulder every few seconds as she made her way purposefully towards the church at the end of the street. Darkness had descended upon the city entwined with the fog that made vision difficult. She shivered slightly as she walked, favouring her left arm that was bleeding. She had not showered in three days and although it was something she was used to, she was beginning to feel uncomfortable. She found it intriguing how things had really turned around. She had gone from hunter to hunted in such a short time and for the first time in her life, Ijeoma was truly frightened. She had anticipated this but she had hoped she would be able to complete all her plans before things blew up. Quite unfortunately, it hadn’t happened that way. She made her way…
