Go Getter (Go-Get-Her) #25

Read previous episodes of Go Getter He drove a very far distance away from his house before parking under the awning of a closed Car Wash. His wife wouldn’t bother to come this far, which was, if she was crazy enough to chase after him. The other car was bad anyway. He got out his phone and dialled Casmir. He should be about his duty by now, it was almost 11p.m. He hadn’t been joking when he told him he saw something unique in him, the man was a fighter. He had faith Cas would do all it required to get Sandy back. On his part, he was about doing his possible best to get Sandy from him. The number kept ringing off the hook. He dialled absently for the eighth time, while he went over his plan of possessing Sandy from Cas. The plan was simple – He’d kidnap…

Go Getter (Go-Get-Her) #24 – Repost

Afternoon! I’m reposting this because the one posted on Friday was actually episode 23 and not 24. Please bear with me.Thanks Omotayo for bringing it to my notice. Read previous episodes of Go Getter Things weren’t going to go as easy as she’d thought. Miss Sharon sat quietly in one of the chairs in the reception area and observed. The hospital had four floors and it was extremely busy, unlike Amazing Grace. She could bypass the nurses stationed at the reception, but in what ward was she supposed to find Lucy? She could call Ochuko to ask him the ward his daughter was in, but she already knew his reply. ‘Why are you making thing so difficult for yourself?’ he’d say, ‘meet the nurse at the reception and do as I told you.’ She sighed. She hated to accept defeat, so she sat patiently and watched. Something would come up – a…

Go Getter (Go-Get-Her) #24

Read previous episodes of Go Getter  They’d just had their bath; she with the bathroom in the guest bedroom, him with the bathroom in the master bedroom. Now they sat in the sitting room, side by side, sipping on Iced Tea and watching a muted program on TV. Outside, crickets have taken over chirping from the birds and the sky had only a thin streak of moon as its source of illumination. It was terribly dark, and cold. Ochuko briefly took his eyes off the TV to Sandy, he saw a perfect alignment of gooseflesh on her arm. “You’re cold.” He said. She nodded in agreement. He got up and went to one of the bedrooms to get a blanket. He covered her with it before going back to his position on the sofa. Sandy swept the blanket off her body and went to sit on his laps. She wrapped…

Go Getter (Go-Get-Her) #22

Read all episodes of Go Getter He didn’t realise it was his house until his buttocks sank into the brown cushion directly facing the TV. It was the particular spot he sat everyday after work either to watch TV, write notes, read newspapers, or have his meal (usually with a bottle or two of beer). The depression in the chair was born out of age and frequent use. Around him, sitting in the cushions on both flanks, were men he could recognise but couldn’t place where they had met. They were staring at him like he had just pooped in his shorts and it was stinking badly. “Hope you guys know you’re in my house and sitting in my chairs?” Cas asked. “Yes we do.” One of the men on the cushion flanking his on the left said. “I brought you here myself.” “It doesn’t matter.” Cas said and stretched…
