The Moskeda Book Club

So the survey I ran here a few days ago has been completed. I want to thank everyone who participated and for the feedback that I received. Bless you! I will give you the results in a bit, but first, I want to introduce the Moskeda Book Club to you. We’re on Instagram and it’s not yet begun because I’m working on a few things at the moment. I hope to start it off on the first of August. I’m excited and nervous at the same time because I don’t know what to expect. But I’m sure we’ll find our footing. So the Moskeda Book Club is going to be like any other book club, but with a difference. We will read and share our thoughts on what we read and those thoughts would be published as a collective review here on the site. This is to help people catch…

Stranger In Lagos – What’s Next?

I have a special announcement for all my Stranger In Lagos fans. But before that I’d like to drop a word on behalf of the guest writers here. It’s not their intention to start a series and then leave without finishing it. Some of them get caught up with work and have to face that before anything else. Please, bear with them. Now, concerning Stranger In Lagos, I will still need some time. I’m not writing it on the go. Just like the first fourteen episodes, I have to send it to my editor after I am done. And i’m not done :(. The delay is due to the fact that I got dumped with a shitload of work which still has me swamped. The series is a work-in-progress and I will be back with the continuation. I’ll advice that you follow me on Twitter and like my Facebook page…

Girls #3

Read Previous Episodes Of Girls Tony spent all day with Kenny and Jackie on Saturday. Visit to the London Eye. Walking the grounds around Big Ben, the Palace of Westminster and shelling out for extra size of whatever snack Kenny pointed at for Jackie. When he saw them come out together on Sunday after the church service, he sighed.       “Calm down, lover boy.” His mum was reapplying her lipstick. Sat beside him in tight fitting pants, big earrings and short hair, this was one of those days where she looked around the same age as him. One of his students had asked him one day if she was his sister when she brought him his gym back to the school.   The age gap had not always worked for them. At secondary school he was often embarrassed walking with her. She was in her twenties, wore shorts during summer and…

The Darker Berry #1

Hi Fam! Thank you for the votes and love shown yesterday. It’s good to know there are people that always got your back. God bless you all! So we are here at last, Tomi and I and you guys. I have to warn though, this is 18+ and dark as promised. Hehehe. It’s to feature every Sunday, here and on Tomi’s blog, so expect the next episode on hers. Enjoy! She hated tears. They were for the weak. For those women who loved and gave their hearts to men. She was not one of them. She was Umi and she simply did not do love. But love had done her in somehow. Found that hard outer shell, cracked it open and slipped in quietly through the fissure until it located her soft core and dumped its mushy mess into her. This love came in form of a man whom…

Hunter’s Game: Season 2 (Teaser)

Hi everyone! I am pleased to inform you that Hunter’s Game is returning for a second season! Whoop whoop! I thoroughly enjoyed writing the first season and the characters would not let me rest so I have decided to bring them back in a second season alongside a few new people as well Today, the series goes live on my blog and I hope to see you there. Thank you so much for reading. Let’s make it a date. But before then, here’s a little teaser to whet your appetite. *** The sun had long since completed its return home by the time she took her evening run. Her trail was different tonight as she ran through the city for the first time. It had always been through the beach or some other trail close to home but this night, she took a different, longer trail, just for the fun of…

The Fourth Finger Ebook – Excerpts

The Fourth Finger Ebook – Excerpts My boss called me this evening and he was like, ‘Sally, have you finished your book?’ I laughed. And said to him, ‘I’m never done until I hit the publish button.’ Good evening, guys. Panic not. The book drops tomorrow by midnight. Just like it had been with Fish Brain Madhouse. But before it does, here are excerpts from the chapters you haven’t read – just to make your mouths water. The book cover was designed by Ogbonnaya Williams Chukwudi, whom we call Signor Chuksy. I wanted something mysterious that left first time readers wondering what the book was all about, ad Chuks gave me this which I absolutely love. Read excerpts… He didn’t expect her to answer the call. The note she left had pretty much revealed her state of mind. Dejection had set in. She wasn’t one to easily let his…

Always One More Time #17 By Temitope Ogunyinka

Read older episodes of Always One More Time How many times does someone make a mistake? When does it get too much? And is it ever late to turn back? Funlola knew she had made a mistake. This was what she had wanted to avoid when she got married to John. Hurting him. She had told him everything she did. It wasn’t just Jide she had been with, but also Ebuka (nothing major, a few kisses), and then with Dele . . . Just few days after their wedding. She had told him of her parents and her life with all the other men she had been with. As if trying to further prove her point of why she was wrong for him. The look on his face when she told him. . . The pain she undoubtedly caused him . . . it hurt her more than she…

Always One More Time #3 By Temitope Ogunyinka

The lush three-bedroom penthouse apartment belonged to Audrey. It was one of the few things gifted to her father. Audrey slept in the master bedroom, the second room was an extension of her closet and the smallest of the rooms was Funlola’s. Dele had talked, more like coerced Audrey, into letting Funlola stay with her; claiming that Funlola needed a closer place to her work and school than coming all the way from Mushin. Dele’s initial plan was for her to live with him, but Funlola had objected to that. She didn’t want him breathing down her neck whenever she came late from partying or doing whatever she liked. Funlola walked over to the spacious, modern kitchen and pulled open the fridge. There was no left-over food to eat. It wasn’t like any of them knew how to cook or do any house-hold chores, they usually bought take-out and had…

It’s Another Saturday…#8

Click To Read Previous Episodes of It’s Another Saturday The One Who Makes Me Cry It’s been three days since I last heard from Jide. He has tried getting through to me but I have given him the cold shoulder. Before then, we had communicated really well for over a month via all the social networks and through phone calls. Gradually, we had drawn close and he had even given me the pet name Sugar Lips. It’s not like we have declared love for each other; we just know there’s something there. Or so I thought. Turned out I was building a sandcastle. The problem started when he and I were having one of our phone conversations and I heard a girl in the background. It was supposed to be 2am in Nigeria. What was a girl doing with him at that time of the night? He told me blankly…
