Born and raised in Nigeria, West Africa, she developed a passion for reading at the age of twelve. Her interest in writing began in secondary school when she joined the press club. Her active imagination has captured the interests of many.

She was named one of the most influential authors under Forty by the Nigerian Writers Awards (NWA) for the years 2017 and 2018.
Apart from getting lost in creating fascinating fictional characters, Amaka enjoys reading, painting and travelling with her family.
She lives in the United Kingdom with her husband and daughters where she also practices as a part-time family doctor.

Feyi Aina
Olufunmilola Adeniran writes as Feyi Aina, a poet and a novelist crafting inspirational women’s fiction and African Romantic Historical Fiction novels. She is the author of Ayanfe, Love Happens Eventually and Love’s Indenture which one her the RWOWA Author of the year Award 2019.

She has a few short stories in several anthologies, and her short story ‘’The River God’ was featured in Brittle Paper in 2017 and sampled in a textbook by Prof S.E. Egya called Nature, Environment and Activism in Nigerian Literature.
When she is not reading or writing, she enjoys cooking, traveling and scouring the net for ancient history on arts, culture and civilization.
Olufunmilola is married with children and runs HOPPS, a private physiotherapy clinic in Lagos, Nigeria.
